During our 2014 expedition, Claire and I were so excited to make to Italy. Our first stop was Venice, an incredible place in which to get lost… Every turn leads you to a pretty path or canal, and if you happen to get hungry while wandering, there is no shortage of gelato. I was inspired to shoot a lot of film in this breathtaking city, and since our stay here was short, I toted my camera almost everywhere. The photos above include scenes from St. Mark’s Square, Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and countless corners, random buildings and canals. I wholeheartedly cherish these memories of cheeky Italian bartenders, somewhat rude birds, and attempts at the Italian language.
